The GYSTC supplemental resource guides are intended to enhance your instruction of the new Georgia Standards of Excellence for Science. As such, the guide is designed to complement, and not supplant, other resources available to you at your school. These resource guides are available for school districts who are members of GYSTC. We would love to have your district join the GYSTC team. For more information on how to join as a district please contact Melody Chapman email@example.com
Within the resource guides, most lessons incorporate a 3-D approach to science instruction that integrates core content ideas, crosscutting concepts and science and engineering practices. This 3-D approach is designed to help students better understand how Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) are intertwined within our society. The lessons are designed to emphasize a hands-on, student-centered approach to science that can augment the excellent activities that you are already doing.
